2024: a year of architectural redesign and the introduction of AI

GoFAST is the result of over 10,000 man-days of development, integration, testing and patching. But this is no reason, as they say, to rest on our laurels - a lethal attitude in IT, as it allows what is known as the "technological debt" to grow. In 2024, we therefore face a number of challenges:

• change of operating system, with RedHat discontinuing CentOS 7 in June 2024
• switching to a containerized architecture
• the switch to Drupal 10

To this list we can add AI prototyping. GoFAST v4.3, scheduled for release at the end of May, will be an important step in this technological overhaul.
