Support for NTLM (IWA) when using WebDAV
-
Dear community,
We recently bought Mountain Duck and were trying to configure it to use Integrated Windows Authentication when connecting to Documenta.
Their support team says that the server is offering Basic authentication, instead of NTLM.
Can you make this work?
Thanks!

Hello,
We do not currently integrate NTLM protocol accounting in GoFAST. Our other customers, who use MoutainDuck, use the webDAV protocol to connect to their GoFAST server. Could you tell us why you specifically want to use the Integrated Windows Authentication to connect to Documenta? In the meantime, I've just created a jira under the reference GOFAST-12964 so that this functionality can be implemented in a future version of GoFAST.
I thank you in advance for your feedback and wish you a very good day,
Best regards,

Hi @dvanzo,
We were looking at that option as we do not want to ask end-users for their credentials but use SSO.
How are your other customers achieving this using Basic authentication?
Thanks!

Hello @bmartins-EUDA, thank you for your feedback.
Our other customers who use Mountain Duck do not use this type of mechanism to connect to the GoFAST server using basic authentication. Instead, they usually enter their credentials directly into the connection profile used to join the server using the webDAV protocol.Below is an example of the profile used to connect.
Looking forward to hearing from you, I've also just submitted a new ticket to MountainDuck support asking them to implement the SAMLv2 protocol.
I wish you all a very good day,
Best Regards,
