    Dear community,

I am not sure if this was ever requested by your business colleagues, but with the raise of AI, there is the natural need of integrating platforms like Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat with GoFast.

Microsoft informed us about this solution.

Have someone ever tried it? Do you know about other alternatives?

    Thanks!

On our side (CEO-Vision) the largest demand is for an Onpremise Mistral AI offer of course to keep the data safe. The Mistral SaaS version used by GoFAST is in Zero Data Retention mode already to largely mitigate risks.

On the functional side on GoFAST, after auto-categorization by AI, AI plugin for Onlyoffice, personal data anonymisation, there will be a AI ChatBot in GoFAST 4.5 (available in December) and we have an experimental AI search that will be included soon. All this can work Onpremise if need. In 2026 additional AI functionalities will be delivered.

At last the good news is that GoFAST AI could stay free for a part of 2026.

To come back to the Xillio Alfresco/Copilot plugin, it is not clear what kind of functionalities they are offering, do you have more on that?

      Thank you,
      Christopher

Hi @cpotter, thank you for your prompt response! Everything makes much more sense now, and we're excited to begin experimenting with it next year.

Unfortunately, I don't have detailed information about the Xillio integration. However, my understanding is that it operates similarly to other Copilot connectors: you set up a local proxy, which enables the Microsoft cloud search engine to index your on-premises data while maintaining access permissions. Copilot can then retrieve answers using its standard interface by leveraging this indexed data.

@bmartins-EUDA "Copilot connectors: you set up a local proxy, which enables the Microsoft cloud search engine to index your on-premises data while maintaining access permissions. Copilot can then retrieve answers using its standard interface by leveraging this indexed data."

This seems really problematic at least for sensitive data (however GoFAST offers now a Classification metadata on documents and collaborative spaces) that could theoretically offer a way to enforce that no sensitive data is send to Copilot.

We have also a partnership with "Wikit" (https://www.wikit.ai/en/) that seems to do the same thing (agent based on GoFAST content) with some of our customers (i.e. Region Occitanie), but as i said it is planned "S1 2026" directly in GoFAST with Mistral AI, in SaaS or Onpremise.

          Best,
          Christopher
