    Dear all,

We are currently finalising the developments related to the retention period, and more specifically its application at the folder level.

As part of this work, we would like to gather your feedback and requirements regarding permission management: who should be allowed to modify folder metadata, and therefore to apply or remove a pre-archiving status?

At this stage, we are considering aligning with the existing behaviour for documents — that is, allowing users with the roles of Contributor, Space Manager, and Space Administrator to modify these metadata, and thus to initiate or stop the retention period.

We look forward to your feedback and thank you in advance for your input.
