Hello everyone,
Requested by many clients, we are going to introduce space templates in GoFAST v4.6.
The goal is to allow, in addition to creating regular spaces, the creation of preconfigured spaces that already contain certain default information.
These space templates would act as models including:
- the space title,
- the members (users or user lists),
- the folder structure,
- the documents,
- the metadata associated with the space (including category and classification),
- the forms.
Space administrators would then be able to create new spaces based on these templates, through a library of template spaces likely located at the root (in the ‘templates’ directory).
We would like your feedback for this version or for a future improvement:
- What additional elements would you like to be automatically included in a space template?
- What concrete use cases would you have for this feature?
