Workflow - for information : too many notifications

Hello,
We have a feature request about "for information" tasks in the standard workflow:
- Stop to send mails when a person assigned with "for information" completes the task.
- Stop to send mails when a person assigned with "for information" does not complete the task (reminders).
To us, it seems "for information" should not involve a task as it is not impact anything in the workflow.

We recorded a new Jira with your request GoFAST-9028.
We are talking about the changes in the standard workflow so we need some votes to know if this kind of modification is relevant for the majority of our users.
