    Hello,

We are thinking of introducing a naming rule mechanism in a future version of GoFAST.

This would allow, for example, depending on the category and other metadata to automatically rename a file, such as an invoice.

    For example :
a file manually named "Minutes 2023 12 02 GoFAST kickstart meeting for XXX.pdf" would become "MINUTES_2023-12-02_fdupont_121234432_GoFAST kickstart meeting for XXX.pdf".

    from GoFAST metadata:

    • category (here "Minutes" to which a shortened string will be associated here "MINUTES")
    • creation date
    • author (here fdupont)
    • document reference (here project number 121234432 )

Each time a metadata is changed (or defined) the file name will be automatically changed by GoFAST.

Thank you in advance for your comments on this feature.
