For you to know our first customer (2300p.) back in 2012 choose GoFAST to manage a large IT project, the migration of a new version of an ERP, 1 millions€ project, 2 years duration, 60 staffs (internal+external). Back then they needed a DMS (versionning, fast search ...) to manage all requirements, plannings, documentation, minute notes, ... all securely accessed internally and externally with stakeholders (IT consulting firms). Since then GoFAST has been used by almost all our IT customers department at least for document sharing+collaboration, including the French Ministry of Finance for the CHORUS project, which is the ERP of French State, one of the largest and most critical software in France. For that purpose (DMS) a project has to have at least a 'Group' collaborative space in GoFAST. If you want to share some project files with your customer and/or external parties, you will have also create a 'Extranet' collaborative space. Remember that a single document can be shared in 2 collaborative spaces, very unique feature of GoFAST. On top of project repository in GoFAST there is a lot more that can be done : Manage a project with KANBAN card (see screenshot) Use workflows for a project (for example, review the business requirement, get the approval from management, ...) Use project space template (GoFAST v4.1) where a collaborative space is having always the same structure (templates, sub-directories, ...) Integrate a project management tool (i.e. JIRA, OpenProject, ...) with GoFAST

The new standard workflow are great and we are happy that you appreciate it. Changing an actor while the process is executed has already been done for some customers and their specific workflow, but it is not a small development, i think we would need a customer ordering it. Otherwise your workaround by using userlists in workflows is referenced in our roadmap GOFAST-5347 currently for GoFAST 4.1 (T1 2022) Have a nice end of week,

@aclassen Hello, Normally, as a space admin, it is possible to delete any folder from the space, even if there are documents inside. Can you create a ticket with the file concerned and who is the user concerned ? We will try to find out where the problem comes from. If you have any other questions, please let me know. Sonia

Yes, we have thought about using that notification as well, but we would need something permanently accessible (people often ignore the details of such a notification). It would be enough to have the text in a / reffered to in a permanently pinned "blog post" or "web page" or "document" for all users I am at a loss where to put it, though. Under _PUBLIC is the obvious solution for internal users, but how / where do you ensure that all Extranet users can access it? I thought is would fit nicely directly into the _Extranet space where everybody has read access, but I cannot multifile it there it seems. I would not like to create a special space for this

Hello Andrea, Until we correct the problem, you can access the editing form by adding "edit" after the number of the page, eg. https://gofast.ceo-vision.com/node/14139/edit. Hello @aclassen , You can change a user's landing page on GoFAST. You can do it in GoFAST Configuration: Administration-GoFAST-Configuration-General (see the screenshots). Hello @aclassen , This option is interesting in the case the organization has very open vision about the management of access rights on GoFAST platform. For example, we can have this situation in some organizations with strong representation of researchers. They have often many small collaborative projects with other internal or external colleagues and it’s important for them to be able to create fastly Group/Extranet space of second level and add user and not have to wait Administrator of first level gives access each time. If this option is activated, the system of notifications is planned to notify super administrators, administrators of spaces some spaces are not active for a long period of time (no actions with files in the spaces) , spaces can be removed from platform. Dear @aclassen , Actually in GoFAST platform, Space Administrator and Space Contributor can modify/update the file templates. For the next version, only space administrator will be able to update the file templates. Have a nice day, Yelena Yevtykhova

Hello @aclassen and thank you for your question. Space home page: Currently there is no standard home page for a Collaborative Space (by default it's ampty). You can create a "wiki" page shared between the administrators of the various Spaces so that they can copy the content and paste it on the home tab of the Spaces they manage. The main home page: by default, the activity thread is displayed. However, if necessary we can set up a "Dashboard" page for you. For the moment, this page is the same for all users (the types of "blocks"), but the information and content that are displayed in the blocks depend of course on the access rights of the users. Eg: everyone will have the "Tasks / Processes" block, but the tasks displayed will be different depending on the user. Yours, Olga

Hello @aclassen, Thanks for your question. The management of rights on Public Spaces has been changed recently: now, to contribute in a public space, you must be a member of the list "Public".
